Three charged in Medicine Hat after man “seriously assaulted”

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat Police Service (MHPS) has laid charges in connection to an assault.

Officers were called to the 200 block of 2 Street NE on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, on reports of a disturbance.

Police found a man who had been “seriously injured” and required treatment for his injuries. He remains in hospital.

Upon further investigation by the MHPS Criminal Investigation Section, three people were charged.

Jeremiah James Alfonse Amero, 33, faces one count of assault causing bodily harm and five counts of breaching a release order.

Isaiah Cole Wawia, 28, faces one count of assault causing bodily harm and three counts of breaching a release order.

Ryan Joseph Paskaluk, 26, faces one count of assault causing bodily harm.

The three suspects remain in custody.
