LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are plenty of events to check out in Southern Alberta this week, and Lethbridge News Now has you covered with the details.

Christmas Tree Festival – November 19-22, 2023

The Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation’s Christmas Tree Festival. Running from November 19 to 22, the festival will transform the Lethbridge ENMAX Centre into a shimmering winter wonderland. A family skate is also part of the festivities on Monday night.

EDL Website Pitch Competition – November 21, 2023

Economic Development Lethbridge (EDL) will host a pitch competition on Tuesday. It will invite competitors to pitch their ideas to incorporate into the design of EDL’s new website, which will be unveiled in the first half of 2024. Four pitches will be done in-person at Tecconnect (3582 30 St. N) and virtually, by designers in southern Alberta all the way up to Edmonton. The event begins at 1 p.m. on Tuesday. EDL will award the best pitch with a $2,500 prize, followed by $1,000 for second place and $500 for third place.

Downtown Yoga – Wednesdays

The City of Lethbridge is running Downtown Yoga every Wednesday. The yoga takes place from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Back in Balance Wellness Centre (303 3 Avenue S.).

Cypress County Ag Connections Conference – November 22, 2023

The Cypress County Ag Connections Conference will take place on November 22. The event aims to support the growth, diversification, and sustainability of the agriculture industry in the region, through innovation and education. The event will feature over 15 ag-focused speakers discussing topics relevant to beef and crop producers.

Night at the Museum Shopping – November 23, 2023

The Galt Museum & Archives is helping those looking to kick off their holiday shopping. The museum is holding the Night at the Museum shopping event on Thursday. All visitors get a 10% discount on items bought, and the discounts apply from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. that day. Door prizes will also be available.

Glow Lethbridge – November 23 – December 31, 2023

Lethbridge’s holiday light celebration begins on Thursday at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre. Glow Lethbridge features lights in the form of landmarks like the London Bridge, Taj Mahal and Eiffel Tower, as well as a scavenger hunt, music and treats. More information can be found here.
