YWCA of Lethbridge announces new gala

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The YWCA of Lethbridge has announced a special event.
After 25 years as the Royal Gala and over $1 million raised, the organization has made the decision to retire the Royal Gala. With that said, officials have unveiled that the first YWCA Gala – Presented by Grassroots Realty, will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, which also happens to be Giving Tuesday, the international day of giving.
In a news release, the YWCA stated, “The support, hard work and incredible dedication of the entire Royal LePage Lethbridge team over the past 25 years has made this annual event one that you don’t want to miss! We can’t thank the Royal LePage Team enough for all they have done and contributed to our organization and to our Harbour House Emergency Shelter over the past two and a half decades.”
Over the year, the gala has raised funds for various groups, including Harbour House Emergency Shelter, Hestia Youth Homes, Safe Visitation and the YWCA’S Amethyst Project.
