Coaldale RCMP charge three in vehicle theft investigation

COALDALE, AB – Three people are facing charges in relation to a vehicle theft investigation.

On November 20, 2023, RCMP became aware of a stolen 2012 Chevrolet Silverado in the Coaldale area.

Members of the RCMP’s Southern Alberta Crime Reduction Unit (SAD CRU) and Coaldale RCMP, along with assistance from the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS), said they saw the truck as it drove toward Coaldale from Lethbridge.

A tire deflation device was used, and the vehicle was disabled as it drove onto Range Road 173. Police arrested the three occupants in the vehicle.

RCMP have charged Shauna Marratt, 32, a resident of Coaldale with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and flight from police.

William Fick, 35, a resident of Lethbridge, was charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000 and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

Justice One Owl, a resident of Brocket, was charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000.

Marratt will appear in Lethbridge court on December 15, while Fick and One Owl will appear in court on November 24 in Lethbridge.
