Blood Tribe Police looking for 73-year-old man

STANDOFF, AB – UPDATE: The Blood Tribe Police Service said Andrew Day Rider has been located and is safe. They thank the public for their assistance.

The Blood Tribe Police Service is asking for the public’s help finding a missing man.

Andrew Day Rider, 73, was reported missing on December 4, 2023, after walking away from a residence in the Farm 4 area on the Blood Tribe Nation.

He is described as 6’3 and 175 lbs, with brown eyes and brown/grey hair. He was last seen wearing a black toque, black jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes.

Police do not suspect foul play. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact Blood Tribe Police Service at (403) 737-3800 or Blood Tribe Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 222-8477.
