Taber Police looking for owner of ‘significant amount of cash’

TABER, AB – Did you recently lose a big chunk of change? The Taber Police Service (TPS) might have it.

On December 2, 2023, a local business found an envelope containing what police say was a “significant amount of cash” inside.

The envelope was turned over to the TPS in hopes that it could be returned to the rightful owner.

If you believe the money belongs to you, the TPS asks that you contact them at 403-223-8991.

In order to claim it, you must be able to identify the financial institution marked on the envelope, the exact amount of cash, and the denominations contained within.
