Livingstone Range schools open Monday, but buses not running
CROWSNEST PASS, AB – Students attending schools in the Livingstone Range School Division and their parents are advised that schools will indeed be open on Monday, January 15, 2024.
However, due to the extreme cold weather, buses will not be operational.
The Division operates a total of 19 schools in Nanton, Pincher Creek, Fort Macleod, Coleman, Granum, Blairmore, Lundbreck, Stavely, and Claresholm.
An extreme cold warning remains in effect for all of Alberta. Although temperatures are expected to moderate somewhat on Monday, wind chill values in the morning could still reach -43 degrees Celsius.
