Lethbridge College and City teams on Civic Common redevelopment

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Centre for Technology, Environment & Design at Lethbridge College is teaming with the City of Lethbridge on a special project.
The two parties will work together to advance the Civic Common redevelopment project forward through the Virtual and Augmented Reality Program.
As of part of the team-up, students will engage with the City to create a variety of digital assets. Notably, this includes the creation of a 3D model showing the envisioned transformation of the Civic Common area.
Residents may have seen a drone flying around the areas of City Hall, the Yates Memorial Theatre and the Old Provincial Court House on January 21 and 23, 2024. Citizens might also spot a drone again between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on January 25 as part of the partnership work.
