Lethbridge’s post-secondaries celebrating Black History Month
LETHBRIDGE, AB – February is Black History Month and post-secondaries in Lethbridge are marking the occasion with different celebrations.
The month serves as a celebration of the achievements and contributions of not just Black Canadians but also individuals of Black, Caribbean or African heritage.
LETHBRIDGE COLLEGE
Lethbridge College will start off its month full of activities at 10 a.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2024. Opening remarks will be provided by the college’s president and CEO Dr. Brad Donaldson, along with second-year General Arts and Science student Theresa Ogaosun, in Centre Core.
