LETHBRIDGE, AB – There are plenty of events in Lethbridge over the long weekend, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Saskatoon Blades – February 16, 2024

The Lethbridge Hurricanes return to the ENMAX Centre on Friday to take on the Saskatoon Blades. The Hurricanes are looking to get back in the win column, having lost four straight games. The game starts at 7:00 p.m.

International Movie Night: Makala – February 16, 2024

The Southern Alberta Ethnic Association is holding another International Film Night on Friday. February’s film celebrates Black History Month, and they will be showing the film Makala. Doors open at 6:30, while the film begins at 7:00.

Legends of Rock and Country – February 15-25, 2024

Legends of Rock and Country began at the Yates Memorial Theatre on February 15. The show highlights over 20 artists who had a large impact on the Rock and Country genres, including Johnny Cash, Fleetwood Mac, Dolly Parton and Tina Turner. Tickets can be purchased here.

Southern Alberta Rifle Association Gun & Hobby Show – February 17, 2024

The Southern Alberta Rifle Association Gun & Hobby Show is coming to the Agri-Food Hub & Trade Centre this weekend. The show runs from 9:30 a.m until 5:00 p.m., and more information on the show can be found here.

Louisiana Hayride Show – February 17, 2024

The Louisiana Hayride Show is a show featuring tribute artists and live band, performing songs from classic artists including Elvis Presley, Shania Twain and Willie Nelson, among others. It will be performed at the Yates Memorial Theatre on Saturday.

Nikka Yuko Winter Light Festival – November 30 – February 24

Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge is hosting its eighth annual Winter Light Festival. This year, the festival has a ‘Celebration of the Seasons’ theme. The festival will be open Thursdays through Sundays.
