Kodiaks’ Anderson, Moes recognized in ACAC volleyball awards

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Two Lethbridge College Kodiaks men’s volleyball players have been recognized for their impressive seasons.

The Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) announced awards winners for volleyball on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.

Kodiaks middle blocker Kohlbe Anderson has been named the ACAC South Division’s Rookie of the Year. Anderson finished the 2023-24 season with 109 kills, along with 28 blocks and eight service aces. Anderson joined the Kodiaks from the Brandywine Volleyball club in Delaware.

Nolan Moes was also recognized by the ACAC, being named to the ACAC All-Conference South team. Moes was a dominant player for the Kodiaks this season, putting up 319 kills and 32 total blocks. His 319 kills was the second most in the entire ACAC, while his 32 blocks ranked 11th.

The Kodiaks men’s volleyball team is competing at the ACAC Men’s Volleyball Championships, which is taking place in Olds from February 22 to 24.
