Mother’s Day flowers program returns to Mountain View Cemetery for 2024

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Sunday is Mother’s Day and the City of Lethbridge Parks and Cemeteries team is once again hosting an annual tradition for the occasion.
The Mother’s Day flowers initiative will allow Mountain View Cemetery visitors to get a complimentary rose. The City says it is a gesture aimed at honouring the memory of loved ones, with the tradition starting in 2018 for both Mother’s Day and Father’s Day
The first 300 visitors can collect their rose beside the cemetery office. Roses will be available on Sunday, May 12, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until they are gone
Roses will also be handed out again on Father’s Day this year, which is on Sunday, June 16.
