Holy Spirit Superintendent Ken Sampson resigns

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Ken Sampson, the Superintendent of Schools for the Holy Spirit Catholic School Division, announced he will resign.

Sampson made the announcement on Monday, May 13, 2024, that he will be leaving at the end of the 2023/2024 school year to explore new horizons and opportunities.

Sampson has been in his position with the school division for five years, taking on the role in January of 2020. He had previously held various positions with the division from 2007 to 2015.

He said, “I will certainly miss the opportunities to engage with the school leaders, staff and students in our division. I am grateful to have had the experiences of impacting, supporting, and leading our Holy Spirit learning communities.”

Sampson announced his next chapter will be taking over as the Director of Education and CEO for the Holy Family Catholic Schools in Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
