Not only did the event aim to raise funds and awareness, but it allowed participants to pay tribute to lost loved ones.

One of the foundation’s directors, Celeste Ment, says although they may not physically be with us, loved ones who have passed on are always with us in our hearts and our memories. Events like Saturday’s walk serve as reminders of the influences lost relatives and loved ones have on the people who knew them throughout their lives.
