Lethbridge Police investigating stabbing outside nightclub

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is investigating a stabbing on Saturday morning that left a man with life-threatening injuries.

On June 8, 2024 at around 4:00 a.m., officers received a report from Chinook Regional Hospital that a man with multiple stab wounds had been brought in by his friends.

LPs launched an investigation, and they believe the male was assaulted outside Club Lime along the 1200 block of 1 Avenue South. Witnesses reported seeing a group of people running from the area.

The victim has been released from the hospital, and the LPS investigation is ongoing.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area between 3:00 and 4:00 a.m. to come forward. Anyone with information can call LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 24010788.
