LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is accepting applications for the Community Wellbeing Advisory Board (CWAB).

The board provides recommendations on how federal and provincial government funding is allocated within the community, and promotes community wellbeing.

CWAB works in alignment with the Municipal Development Plan and the Community Wellbeing and Safety Strategy.

Cyndi Bester, CEO of the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce says, “Serving the community in a way that directly impacts the kinds of wellbeing-focused resources and program we have available in Lethbridge is an incredible opportunity. There is no better way to connect and contribute to your community than by volunteering your time and energy.”

CWAB has nine open voting positions, and the City says they are looking for a diverse range of voices, including spots for Indigenous members.

A virtual information session will be held on June 24 at 6 p.m. for any interested applicants. Those looking to apply can do so at the City of Lethbridge website.
