Amir and Saker Manji Healing Gardens unveiled at Jack Ady Cancer Centre
LETHBRIDGE, AB – A new healing garden is now open at the Jack Ady Cancer Centre in Lethbridge.
On Friday, June 14, 2024, the Alberta Cancer Foundation and the Jack Ady Cancer Centre unveiled the Amir and Saker Manji Healing Gardens. The new gardens come following a $500,000 donation from the Manji family, in memory of Amir.
Amir Manji was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2017, and underwent treatment at the centre. He passed away in 2018.
Nimisha Manji, one of Amir’s daughters says the donation from her family came from how much they were thankful for the amazing care Amir received.
