U of L receives $2.6 million for research projects
LETHBRIDGE, AB – A total of 14 research projects at the University of Lethbridge (U of L) have been funded.
The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) has announced funding for research initiatives across the country with grants provided to the U of L totalling approximately $2.6 million.
Vice-President of Research at the U of L Dr. Dena McMartin says the investment speaks to the excellence and national competitive research they do.
“Our researchers investigate topics that impact the ways we understand the world around us and the complex influences and interconnectedness of the natural environment, agriculture and food security, and deep space phenomena,” says McMartin.
