Fire ban lifted for Lethbridge River Valley

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The outdoor fire pits in the coulees can be used once again.
The ban was enacted earlier this month due to high temperatures and winds, but recent rainfall and cooler weather has significantly reduced the fire risk.
The City of Lethbridge asks that anybody who plans to use the fire pits use clean, dry wood and ensure the fire is completely extinguished before leaving.
Residents are also asked to be cautious when disposing of smoking materials.
