LPS seize drugs, thwart bike theft during enforcement blitz
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) says June 19 was busy for its officers.
Members of the Downtown Policing Unit, Crime Suppression Team, Property Crimes Unit and High Risk Offenders Unit took part in an ongoing enforcement project, targeting crime and social disorder in the downtown core.
Officers executed 33 arrest warrants, laid 19 charges for various offices, and seized 124 doses of methamphetamine and 24 doses of fentanyl.
Numerous weapons, including knives, were also confiscated.
