The Lethbridge Hurricanes’ first pre-season road trip comes to an end

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes of the Western Hockey League (WHL) were on the road for a pre-season game against the Red Deer Rebels on Saturday, September 7, 2024.

They went home with a 5-2 loss against the Rebels at Peavey Mart Centrium in Red Deer.

The Hurricanes’ recent defeat brought their pre-season record to 1-1-0-0 at the season’s midpoint. Lethbridge has managed a 1-0-0-0 record at home but is 0-1-0-0 on the road during the pre-season. They will play their third of four exhibition games on Friday, September 13, when they host the Calgary Hitmen at 7:00 p.m. at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena.

Tickets for the game are available for $10.00 online, with proceeds supporting the Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association. Parking will be free for attendees, courtesy of the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
