U of L receives $1 million for research projects
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Researchers at the University of Lethbridge (U of L) are getting funding for a wide range of studies.
The Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, an agency funded through the federal government, has announced $123 million for post-secondary schools across Canada.
More than $1 million will go towards eight initiatives at the U of L.
Vice-President of Research at the U of L Dr. Dena McMartin says research in the social sciences and humanities plays an essential role in understanding and improving the human condition.
