LETHBRIDGE, AB – There’s plenty to do around Lethbridge this weekend, and LethbridgeNewsNow has the details.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Swift Current Broncos – September 27, 2024

The Lethbridge Hurricanes return to the VisitLethbridge.com Arena on Friday night for a home game against the Swift Current Broncos. The Hurricanes have started the 2024-25 season with a 2-0-0-0 record after wins over the Edmonton Oil Kings and Red Deer Rebels last weekend. Puck drop is at 7:00.

Keeping it Reel Film Festival – September 27-28, 2024

The Keeping it Reel art documentary film screening is taking place Friday night at CASA. The top patio of the building will be showing Charcoal and Clay: Jean Pierre Larocque, a documentary directed by Bruno Boulianne about the Montreal painter and ceramicist. The next day, the film Anselm will be screened from 7 to 8:30. More information can be found on the City’s website.

Lobster Fest – September 28, 2024

Lobster Fest is back on Saturday, September 28 at the Canadian Brewhouse. Tickets include fresh Atlantic lobster, Caesar salad, baked mac & cheese and garlic toast. Parade of Homes – September 21-October 6, 2024

BILD Lethbridge is gearing up to host the 2024 Parade of Homes from September 21 to October 6. Executive Officer Bridget Mearns explains that it is a showcase of 12 “stunning” new homes in six Lethbridge neighbourhoods. Visitors can enter a draw to win a Backyard Prize Package valued over $3,000.

Orange Shirt Awareness Walk – September 29, 2024

Come out for the second annual Orange Shirt Awareness Walk, from the Lethbridge Public Library Main Branch to Galt Gardens and back to the Library. The event is one of many held throughout the week to recognize Truth and Reconciliation. It begins at 11:00.

Kodiaks Soccer – September 29, 2024

The Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks soccer teams are back in action with games on Sunday. They are taking on the Medicine Hat Rattlers at home. The women’s game begins at noon, while the men’s team follows that up with a game beginning at 2:00. More information can be found here.
