Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services investigating westside fire
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services (LFES) is investigating a house fire that landed two people in hospital.
On Friday, October 4, 2024, LFES crews at 4:33 p.m., LFES crews responded to a residential structure fire on Cabot Landing West. Neighbours of the residence had called 911 after hearing smoke alarms.
Upon arrival, firefighters found a kitchen fire in the residence, and two residents had sustained injuries. One was transported to the hospital with minor injuries, and the other was in critical but stable condition.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, and the damage is estimated at $10,000.
