Three southern Alberta students receive agri-food scholarships

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Three post-secondary students in Southern Alberta have received an agri-food scholarship.

The 2024 SouthGrow Agri-Food Futures Scholarship comes from the SouthGrow Regional Initiative, and is aimed at supporting local youth pursuing careers in the agri-food industry in southern Alberta.

Three students were awarded the $2,500 scholarship this year:

Grace Gregory
Danika Hodge
Kaleb Olfert

Bruce Warkentin with MNP LLP Taber, who partnered with SouthGrow to help provide the bursaries, said, “We congratulate Grace, Danika, and Kaleb on their remarkable accomplishments. Their dedication to the agri-food sector is inspiring, and we are eager to see how they will drive innovation and success in the industry.”
