Coaldale Winter Fest to debut in 2024

COALDALE, AB – The Town of Coaldale is introducing a new holiday festival in 2024.

Coaldale Winter Fest is a month-long festival coming to the community that will be host to a series of holiday-themed events, from markets to live performances.

The festival will officially begin on November 29 with a familiar event: the 24th Annual Country Christmas Night of Lights. The Night of Lights will feature the parade beginning at 7:00 p.m., and appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Following the parade, the festival will continue into December with local community groups,businesses, and organizations hosting a series of holiday-themed events, centred in the town’s new Civic Plaza.

Coaldale Winter Fest will also include a “Glow Skate” event on the evening of December 7, which will feature skating, hot chocolate, wagon rides and live music.
