Police searching for Lethbridge woman on outstanding warrants

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for your help in locating a wanted person.

They say Layla Grace Whelan, 36, was previously charged with numerous offences in connection to a break and enter on July 5, 2024. The suspects were said to have been in possession of firearms.

Shortly after she was granted bail in October, LPS says she breached the conditions for her release, resulting in the warrants being issued.

Anyone who has information on Whelan’s whereabouts is asked to contact LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 24021446.
