1949-2024

On Friday, December 13, 2024, ROSALIA “ROSA” SCHAAFSMA (née Vujicic), passed away at the St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre at the age of 74 years, after a year-long battle with cancer.

Rose is survived by her loving best friend and husband of 38 years, Sjoerd Schaafsma, brother-in-law, Graham Dick; and nephew, Benjamin Dick, both of Lethbridge. She will be sadly missed by her family, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives she touched.
