Lethbridge Police remove three impaired drivers from roads
LETHBRIDGE, AB – During the third week of the annual Christmas Check Stop campaign, Lethbridge Police checked 450 drivers and removed three impaired drivers from the road.
The campaign is running throughout December and into the new year, and aims to apprehend impaired drivers and make the roads safer.
In addition, three drivers received Immediate Roadside Sanction Cautions for operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration over 0.05, one GDL driver was issued an IRS Novice Suspension, 38 violations tickets were issued and two arrest warrants were executed.
Anyone who sees an impaired driver is asked to call 911 immediately.
