City of Lethbridge launches Phase 2 survey for Land Use Bylaw Renewal
Residents of Lethbridge can have their say on future developments in the city.
The City of Lethbridge has launched Phase 2 of public engagement for its Land Use Bylaw (LUB) Renewal Project.
Project Manager Genesis Molesky describes the LUB as “the DNA of Lethbridge.”
“It controls what uses and types of buildings can be built where, how tall buildings can be, parking requirements, home businesses, you name it,” says Molesky. “It greatly affects critical issues like housing affordability, economic development and sustainability. It’s a tool to standardize our decision-making processes and this project will determine what aspects of the use and development of land should be regulated and to what degree.”
