LETHBRIDGE, AB – There’s plenty to do around Lethbridge this week, and Lethbridge News Now has the details.

Paradise Lost – February 10-14, 2025

The University of Lethbridge’s Faculty of Fine Arts is putting on its first production of the year. The show is a contemporary adaptation of John Milton’s poem “Paradise Lost”, with the Mainstage production by Erin Shields.The show runs nightly at 7:30 p.m. from February 10 to 14, and tickets can be purchased here.

Winter Light Festival – November 29 – February 28, 2025

The Winter Light Festival is now in its final month at the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden. The festival will run until the end of February. This year’s lights feature the celebration of the four seasons:

  • Haru (Spring)
  • Natsu (Summer)
  • Aki (Fall)
  • Fuyu (Winter)

The festival also features other special events like performances and Horse and Wagon rides. A full list of information is at the Nikka Yuko website.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Red Deer Rebels – February 12, 2025

The Lethbridge Hurricanes will take on the Red Deer Rebels at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena on Wednesday night. The game will be the last matchup between the two teams this season, and it is Wild 95 Night at the arena. Tickets can be found here.

Pro-amateur Comedy Night – Every Wednesday

Pro-Amateur Night runs every Wednesday at the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club downtown. Come see the best local comics or try out comedy yourself. The hosts of the event rotate every week, and it begins at 7:00.

The Owl Acoustic Lounge events – All week

There are multiple shows and events taking place at the Owl Acoustic Lounge this week. A full list can be found at the venue’s website.

Kodiaks Volleyball – February 14-15, 2025

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks volleyball teams are at home this weekend, hosting the Briercrest Clippers. The women’s game begins at 6:00 on Friday night, while the men’s game is at 8. The two teams then play again at 1:00 and 3:00 on Saturday. The matchups are the final games of the regular season for the Kodiaks.

Gun & Hobby Show – February 15-16, 2025

Buy, sell and trade at the Southern Alberta Rifleman’s Association’s Gun & Hobby Show on Saturday and Sunday at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. The event runs from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., and more information can be found here.
