UPDATE (Wednesday, Mar. 19): One person dead following collision south of Lethbridge

Original Story:

The RCMP says it is investigating a serious motor vehicle collision.

It was first reported to media at 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

Details are sparse at this time, but the collision occurred at the intersection of Highways 4 and 845 southeast of Lethbridge.

The RCMP says the south bound lanes are currently closed, while 511.Alberta.ca states that all lanes are closed.

The public is asked to avoid the area.
