High-risk offender Brent Miles Hansen released in Lethbridge
The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is advising the public that a person who has been designated a “high-risk offender” is out in the community.
Brent Miles Hansen, 29, has been released from custody and is continuing to serve a three-year sentence in the community for sexual assault.
“Hansen has a history of sexually offending against females that he has opportunistically met using dating apps and social media. Police believe he poses a significant risk of harm to the community,” says LPS. “He is bound by conditions not to own, use or possess any technological device that would allow access to the internet, unless approved.”
They say Hansen has been assessed as an above-average risk to re-offend and is being monitored by the LPS High Risk Offenders Unit.
