Primary Care Alberta launches New Parent and Newborn phone line

Primary Care Alberta’s phone line for new parents has become a provincial service.

The New Parent and Newborn Line was launched last month to allow parents and caregivers to contact registered nurses to get expert advice for the first two months after their baby’s birth.

Minister of Health Adriana LaGrange says the line makes it simpler for new parents to find the support they need during the critical early days.

New parents across Alberta can call the line at 1-833-805-2229 (BABY).
