The festivities will kick off at Galt Gardens at 9:00 a.m. with a charity pancake breakfast, with proceeds going to the Interfaith Food Bank. There will also be an artisan market, Indigenous-based activities, a Show & Shine and more.

The Canada Day Park Run returns this year. The free 5K community run starts at the Kinsman Picnic Shelter and features a double loop around the lake. More details here.

Several events will take place at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre. Starting at 11:00 a.m., visitors can enjoy musical acts, drumming, dancing and magic at the main stage. More than 25 food trucks will be on-site. The full list of vendors and entertainment will soon be made available here.

The Kids’ Activity Zone and Youth Entrepreneur Market will take place at the east end of Henderson Lake Park. Vendor applications are still being accepted.

Fireworks will mark the evening’s finale, weather permitting. It will happen on the west end of Henderson Lake at 11:00 p.m. Final confirmation will be shared on the City of Lethbridge’s social media pages once a decision has been made.

The City is pleased is offering free extended transit service for the celebration. Route 3 cityLINK Green and Route 4 cityLINK Orange will begin transporting passengers to Henderson Lake Park starting at 7 p.m. Both routes will also be available following the fireworks display.
