Police seeking witnesses in Lethbridge assault

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking anyone who witnessed an assault this past weekend or who has video of the incident to contact them.

They say an assault with a weapon occurred outside the south side Walmart on 3700 Mayor Magrath Drive South at 7:39 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025.

According to police, a verbal altercation between a man and a group began inside the store and continued outside, where a weapon was allegedly produced.

Officers are specifically looking to speak with a person connected to an Orange Hot Rod with no hood, who may have been a witness to the assault.

Anyone else who may have information or video footage is asked to contact LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 25012744.
