LPS looking for those involved in pedestrian hit-and-run

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) says it would like to learn more about a collision involving a pedestrian.

It took place around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 5.

LPS received a report that a blue Volkswagen Jetta drove onto the sidewalk on the 100 block of 16 Street North, striking a pedestrian and running over a small tree before fleeing at a high rate of speed.

Anyone who has information on this incident, or who can identify the pedestrian and/or the owner or operator of the vehicle, is asked to call LPS at 403-330-4444 and reference file number 25012467.
