City of Lethbridge launches Community Satisfaction Survey

Jul 21, 2025 | 11:11 AM

Here is your chance to let the City of Lethbridge know how you think it is doing.

The municipality has launched a Community Satisfaction Survey, which it describes as a “targeted pulse check.”

There will be both a 10-minute phone survey, which Communications and Engagement Manager Tara Grindle says will help to build a randomized sample, as well as an online survey that can be completed any time before August 15, 2025.

She explains that the feedback received from the surveys will greatly help to inform decision-making at City Hall going forward.

“Lots of the departments identified that Satisfaction Survey as the key way to get information from our residents, so we really want to make sure that we’re doing that on a frequent basis so those departments can be checking that measurement and going, ‘Are we meeting it? No, we’re not. We need to be doing something different,’ so it has a lot of impact, actually, on how we’re going to run our programs and services,” says Grindle.

Traditionally, the City has utilized a 20-minute survey, but has cut it down to 10 to give a more general overview of its services.

The online survey can be accessed here.

Grindle says she hopes to have the results of the survey published sometime this fall.
