Lethbridge Polytechnic to receive second-largest donation ever, will support ag research

A multi-million dollar donation is set to be made at Lethbridge Polytechnic.

It will come from the estate of Joe and Laverna Hranac.

This is described as the second-largest in the school’s history, and it will support operations at the Lethbridge Polytechnic Research Farm.

We will learn more about the donation at the official unveiling on Thursday, August 21.

It coincides with the Polytechnic’s annual Farm Field Day, where members of the agricultural community tour the farm, meet with researchers, and learn more about the Centre for Applied Research, Innovation and Excellence.
