City of Lethbridge closures during Labour Day

Several City of Lethbridge facilities and services will be closed on the upcoming statutory holiday or have their hours reduced.

The municipality has announced the following service level changes for Labour Day on Monday, September 1:

Lethbridge 311

The Lethbridge 311 contact centre will be closed. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, September 2, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

311 in person at City Hall will be closed. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, September 2, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

City Hall

City Hall will be closed. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, September 2, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Waste and Recycling

The Waste and Recycling Centre will be closed. Recycling stations are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and yard waste dropoff depots are open from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

There is no curbside waste, recycling or organics collection on Mondays.

Pools & Arenas

Community Animal Services

Community Animal Services and the Lethbridge Animal Shelter will be closed.

The public can access services on the website at any time including dog license payments, appointment booking, online complaint reporting and searching a list of found pets impounded at the shelter. For emergency animal control matters, call 403-320-4099.

Transit Service

Ride on Demand and Fixed Route transit schedules will run on Sunday service.

The Lethbridge Transit customer service desk at City Centre station will be closed.

Access-A-Ride

Access-A-Ride booking and customer service will be closed.

Galt Museum & Archives/Fort Whoop-Up

The Galt Museum is open from 1 – 5 p.m.

Fort Whoop-Up is closed for the season.

Helen Schuler Nature Centre

The Helen Schuler Nature Centre is open 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Lethbridge Public Library

All branches of the Lethbridge Public Library are closed.
