An international border crossing in southern Alberta is operating on a reduced schedule ahead of its seasonal closure.
The Canada Border Services Agency says the Chief Mountain Port of Entry is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. every day between Labour Day and September 30.
It will close on October 1, 2025, and reopen on May 14, 2026.
Chief Mountain is located on Highway 6 just east of Waterton Lakes National Park. After continuing along Highway 17 in Montana, it connects to Highway 89 north of Babb.
