Lethbridge election forums set for Monday & Tuesday this week

With just a couple of days remaining before the start of advanced voting in the 2025 municipal election, voters will have a chance to hear directly from the mayor and councillor candidates.

The Nord-Bridge Senior Citizens Organization is hosting a meet-and-greet event with the candidates at its facility on the north side.

It takes place on Monday, Oct. 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Lethbridge Public Library will then host the city’s first traditional forum on Tuesday.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. at its downtown branch, guests will be able to ask questions to the mayoral candidates with the assistance of a moderator.

Voting in the 2025 municipal elections starts on Wednesday, October 8, in Lethbridge and continues until the general election day on the 20th.

Residents will have a few options for where they would like to vote:

  • Cor Van Raay YMCA on October 8, 9, 10, 11 15, 16, 17, 18 and 20.
    • 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day
  • Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre on October 8, 9, 10, 11 15, 16, 17, 18 and 20.
    • 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day
  • Trinity Reformed Church on October 20
    • 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
