The unofficial results are in for the City of Brooks.

Norm Gerestein is projected to become the community’s next mayor, winning an estimated 1,804 votes, or approximately 63 per cent.

The six people who are projected to form the next council are:

• Mara Nesbitt
• Chad Falkenberg
• Jackie Johnson
• Anne-Marie Philipsen
• Mike Regner
• Mohammed Idriss
