RCMP say strong winds causing dangerous driving conditions along Highway 22

Crowsnest Pass RCMP are asking drivers to avoid Highway 22 as strong winds are causing dangerous driving conditions.

Mounties say they have received multiple reports of flipped trailers and semi-trucks, with wind speeds in the region reaching around 100 kilometres an hour.

Drivers are being urged to stay clear of the highway until conditions improve.

RCMP say the winds are expected to ease later this afternoon.
