Hold onto your hats, it’s going to be another windy one.

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for the southwest region of Alberta on Thursday morning, Nov. 13.

Wind gusts up to 100 kilometres an hour are expected on Thursday afternoon and evening.

Wind speeds are expected to be the strongest near Waterton Lakes National Park.

Other communities impacted by the wind warning include Fort Macleod, Cardston, Magrath, Pincher Creek, Crowsnest Pass, Claresholm, and Nanton.

In these areas, the weather forecaster warns of possible damage to roofs, fences, branches, or soft shelters.

Lethbridge is just outside of the wind warning area, but Environment Canada is still calling for wind gusts up to 80 kilometres per hour on Thursday.
