Service providers can now apply for funding to improve the community in Lethbridge.

The City of Lethbridge is now accepting applications under the 2025 Community Wellbeing Call for Proposals. Funding is available through:

The City says these programs are open to individuals, non-profit organizations, and for-profit groups, provided the activity is non-commercial and not intended for profit.

“This Call for Proposals process and the resulting funded services and programs have delivered meaningful results for our community in the past,” says Andrew Malcolm, GM of Community Social Development. “We are confident that this round will bring forward innovative projects that will allow us to build on progress made and continue to address urgent needs and strengthen overall community wellbeing in Lethbridge.”

Proposals must align with the relevant funding source’s directives and eligibility, and address needs, gaps and strategic priorities identified in the Community Wellbeing and Safety Strategy (CWSS), Municipal Housing Strategy (MHS) and the Lethbridge Community Needs Assessment.

Funding is provided over set two-year periods:

  • FCSS and DOT programs: January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2028
  • Reaching Home programs: April 1, 2027 – March 31, 2029

Applicants are encouraged to review the full Proposal Guide before starting the application process to ensure eligibility and alignment with program goals. Applications can be submitted online until Friday, March 13, 2026, at 4 p.m.
