Canada’s Nikos Clarke-Tosczak, Charles-Emile Brunet invited to MLS College Showcase
Canadians Nikos Clarke-Tosczak and Charles-Emile Brunet are among the 45 players invited to the MLS College Showcase, that kicks off Wednesday in Mesa, Ariz.
The closed-door four-day camp allows technical staff from MLS clubs to scout top prospects ahead of the Dec. 18 MLS SuperDraft.
Clarke-Tosczak, a junior left back from Edmonton, played all 20 matches in his first year at the University of Portland and logged a team-high 1,643 minutes. He earned all-WCC honourable mention for his work in a Portland defence that allowed just 12 goals, the fewest since 1988 for a Pilots squad and tied for the sixth-fewest in U.S. college ranks.
Clarke-Tosczak was with the Vancouver Whitecaps academy from 2020 to ’23, spending the next two years with the Rhode Island Rams in the Atlantic 10 conference before moving to the Pacific Northwest.
