Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for part of southern Alberta.

They are calling for strong westerly wind gusts up to 100 km/hr on Wednesday morning, Dec. 10.

This will likely make driving in parts of the region difficult as the wind may push vehicles around.

Wind speeds are expected to moderate in the afternoon.

Some of the communities impacted by the wind warning include Fort Macleod, Pincher Creek, Crowsnest Pass, Standoff, and Waterton Lakes National Park.

Lethbridge is not included in the wind warning, but Environment Canada says wind gusts could reach up to 70 km/hr on Wednesday.
