Police responding to high-risk incident in south Lethbridge

UPDATE (Dec. 29 at 6:40 p.m.): The Lethbridge Police Service says the high-risk incident has been resolved.

The public may resume use of the area.

LPS will not be releasing any further information at this time.

Just after 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 29, officers were called to the 1400 block of 16 Avenue South.

The public is asked to avoid the area for the time being.
