Vote for your favourite colours for two new Lethbridge playgrounds

The City of Lethbridge wants your input on the design of two new playgrounds.

Crews are replacing the play structures this summer in Cougar Park in the Uplands neighbourhood on the north side and Lafayette Park in the Varsity Village neighbourhood on the west side.

The City says that the upgraded equipment will not only ensure compliance with the Canadian Standards Association, “It will also bring a bright and vibrant look to the adjoining neighbourhoods.”

Residents can vote for their favourite colour schemes online:

Both surveys will be open until Feb. 27, 2026.

The revamped playgrounds should be ready by mid-June, weather permitting.

These are among the 40+ projects that will be on display at the Community Conversation, which takes place Thursday, Jan. 29, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the VisitLethbridge.com Arena.
